Charles E. Scroggs is an entrepreneurial business executive based
in Rockwall County, Texas. He is the founder of the Southwest
Scaffolding Company, a construction firm located in Rowlett, Rockwall
County, which caters primarily to the scaffolding needs of masonry
companies.
Charles E. Scroggs has extensive experience in the
masonry industry. In addition to leading Southwest Scaffolding, he is
also the president of C and D Commercial Masonry, Inc., a provider of
custom stone, bricks, blocks, and other materials. He is also a member
of several organizations related to his field, such as the Masonry
Contractors Association of Texas, the Building Owners and Management
Association, and the Masonry Contractors Association of America.
Mr.
Scroggs holds a bachelor of science in chemistry from the University of
Southern Mississippi. He has also completed graduate courses in
chemical engineering at Louisiana State University, and management
training at Texas A&M. Prior to starting his own company, he served
as the regional manager of technical services for the White Paper
Manufacturing Division of the International Paper Company in Dallas,
Texas.
